EYZFLOW / VERSIONING & ACCESSIBILITY

SignSubtitles, captions and audio description that understand the scene.

Sign prepares language and accessible versions of your films. Video Intelligence gives the translator the scene; your editors review it cue by cue.

01 / OUTPUTSWHAT YOU CAN MAKE.

Four outputs.
From the same source.

Start from an upload, a stream or a file in your Vault. In EYZFlow, you’ll find Sign under Projects.

Every line,
in their language.

Sign transcribes the source and translates it into any of 29 languages. Each language becomes a subtitle track, timed to the picture.

Delivered asSRT from the project. WebVTT through workflow export and stream tracks.

With an editor’s review.

Editors approve or flag each cue, retime it and leave feedback.

Approval belongs to your team.

02 / CONTEXTVIDEO INTELLIGENCE.

Translation that knows
the scene.

A line can be a joke, a warning or a goodbye. Video Intelligence analyses the film first, so the translator works with what is on screen, not only the words.

01Scenes
The scenes each passage of dialogue belongs to.
02Characters
The characters in the film, including speaker gender for languages that need it.
03Names & glossary
Names and terms, spelled the same way across the film.
04Forms of address
Formal or familiar address, carried from scene to scene.
05The story
Synopsis, genres and cast.

Bring your own context.

Attach up to 10 documents: a press kit, synopsis, screenplay, cast list, production notes or existing subtitles.

Start from what you have.

Working from a stream that already has subtitles? Choose to include them, and Sign reuses or translates them instead of starting again.

Know who is speaking.

In the review editor, Sign shows who is speaking, using character names where they are known.

03 / READABILITYBUILT FOR READING.

Built to be read,
not only translated.

These passes are designed to run before your editors open the track. Your editors still have the final say.

Illustrative character cells, not a real subtitle.

  1. 01

    Reading speed

A reading-speed pass shortens translated lines that run faster than 20 characters a second.

  2. 02

    Text on screen

Inserts and title cards are translated too.

  3. 03

    Song lyrics

Lyrics are left out of subtitles. Closed captions keep the music cue.

  4. 04

    Consistent names

A name is spelled the same way from the first scene to the last.

  5. 05

    Meaning check

Translated lines are checked against their source and translated again if the meaning drifted.

  6. 06

    Editorial polish

A final pass smooths the wording.

04 / REVIEWHUMAN IN THE LOOP.

Your editors

Sign does the first pass. Your team reviews it, cue by cue.

  1. 01

    Approve or flag each cue

Work through the track cue by cue. Approve it, or flag it for another look.

  2. 02

    Feedback where it belongs

Attach feedback to a cue and tag it Time, Format or Text.

  3. 03

    Edit in place

Change the wording, retime a cue, add cues or delete them.

  4. 04

    Compare versions

See the current version beside the previous one.

  5. 05

    Roles and permissions

Decide who on your team can edit subtitles and approve or flag cues.

05 / ACCESSIBLE AUDIOHEAR THE DIFFERENCE.

Accessible audio.
Listen before you add it.

Audio description

For blind and low-vision viewers.

Choose the density
Sparse, standard or rich: decide how much of the picture the narration describes.
Listen A/B
Switch between the stream audio and the version with description.
Download or add it
Download the described audio, or add the track to the stream the project came from.

HoH audio

For hard-of-hearing viewers.

Separated, then remixed
Sign analyses the soundtrack, separates the dialogue and builds the hard-of-hearing mix.
Listen A/B
Switch between the original audio and the remix.
Download or add it
Download the AAC (.m4a) track, or add it to the stream the project came from.
06 / WORKFLOWPART OF EYZFLOW.

Part of the way
you already work.

01

Bring the source

Upload a file, pick a stream or choose from your Vault. Uploads are resumable and handle feature-length films.

  • MOV
  • M4V
  • MKV
  • WEBM
  • AVI
  • MPG
  • MPEG
  • TS
02

Automate the steps

Start projects, wait for review and export results as workflow steps. Trigger the next step when subtitles are reviewed or a track is complete. Or ask IO, the EYZFlow assistant, to start subtitles for a stream; it asks you to approve before it spends credits.

03

Publish to the stream

A workflow step publishes subtitles to a stream as WebVTT tracks. When an HoH or audio description project starts from a stream, Add to stream puts its track there.

EYZFLOW SIGN / TECHNICAL REFERENCE

Technical information.

Formats, languages, hosting and access controls behind Sign.

Formats

Projects export SRT. Workflow export adds WebVTT, and subtitles published to a stream become WebVTT tracks. Existing subtitles can be imported as SRT, WebVTT, TTML, iTT or DFXP.

Sources

Video files in MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WEBM, AVI, MPG, MPEG or TS. Uploads are resumable and handle feature-length films.

Hosting

EYZFlow runs on AWS in Frankfurt, Germany. To analyse, transcribe, translate and voice your media, Sign uses specialised AI providers, some outside the EU. Our privacy policy lists them.

Access

Access is scoped to your organisation, with roles and permissions for your team and an audit trail of changes.

Security

HTTPS throughout. API keys are stored hashed, can be revoked and can expire. Third-party credentials are stored encrypted.

08 / FAQGOOD TO KNOW.

Before you
get started.

01Where do I find Sign in EYZFlow?

Under Projects. Create a project, choose what you are making and add your source video.

02Which languages does Sign support?

Subtitles in 29 languages, listed under Technical information. Closed captions are available in the languages you choose.

03Which file formats can I export?

Projects export SRT. WebVTT is available through workflow export and on stream caption tracks, which download as SRT or WebVTT.

04Do people check the AI’s work?

Your team can. Editors approve or flag each cue, and by default audio description is voiced only after someone has reviewed the script.

05Can we bring existing subtitles?

Yes. Import SRT, WebVTT, TTML, iTT or DFXP onto a stream. When you start from that stream and include them, Sign reuses or translates its subtitles instead of starting again.

06How is Sign priced?

With credits, charged per minute of video at each task’s rate. The free plan includes 50 welcome credits; after that you buy credit packs.

07Where is our data processed?
